Mini Ever Bilena Haul

Hi! It's been a while I know. So for today I'll be reviewing 2 of Ever Bilena's chicest product as of date their new line of makeup: The EB Advance blush duo and the classic EB Matte Lipstick in Mauvey which, I decided to give a try.

First is the EB Advance Duo Blush. It's a blush with a bronzer together in a white rectangular compact.

The mirror inside is large enough, with a flat blush brush that is great for contouring but I find it too soft for the blush and it does not distribute ample amount of product in my face so I use tit sometimes for contouring and use another separate brush for the blush instead.

I got mine in Baked Fig. I can't describe more how Fig (a dusty pink color) is perfect for my olive skin tone. Usually blushes have too bright of pink to match a darker skin tone like mine that's why my go-to blush color then was apricot/peach shades which worked well 'till I found out that dusty pink like Fig worked out beautifully than expected. It's super pigmented though. So a small amount will do. Too much will appear too pink. Aside for matching my skin tone well it gives out a glow without the (unnecessary) shimmers as Fig is matte. Meanwhile the bronzer, bronzer? Not really maybe a contouring shade as it is a matte medium brown shade great for contouring. It's not that pigmented like the blush counterpart which I like because for contouring, it should be as subtle as possible so as to easily control the color when applying.

The color will last for 4-6 hours then retouch might be needed. It's a great buy for me and I am seeing myself buying again if this runs out. The colors worked on me perfectly, it's not super expensive and it's easily available on department stores even on grocery stores. I did not note any breakouts while using this. Definitely a good catch for me.

Next is the EB Matte Lipstick in Mauvey

"Pure impact, pure luxury. Ultra matte finish! The only matte lipstick that makes your lipstick supple and and smooth. Delicately developed with long wearing formula that accentuates and pampers your lips. Incredibly luxurious with Vitamin E that gives your lips natural moisture,"

I know that this product is one heck of a bestseller--talked about and most of the time out of stock. Some say that it's a dupe for Mac's Angel, some said that it's just a good lipstick for the price. So I decided to give a try to what this hype is all about.

Packaging is light and plastic seems not as sturdy in my liking. It has a product sample at the bottom of the cap.

When you look at the color of the lipstick from the tube it looks like a brown-pink nude shade, when swatched to skin it looks like mauve but when applied to my lips it looked like pale pinkish mauve.

It's pale for me. It is actually paler than my actual lip color but not giving off that nude vibe either. They say that this shade is like the better version of your natural lip color but not for me though. Wearing this makes my skin tone darker for some reason. The color is not match for me.

It is matte and it makes lips really dry. It also leaves streaks on lips even applied a lip balm prior. But I got to say that the formulation of this lipstick is exceptionally good. I've tried using a Mac matte formulation and it's far from this if people are saying it's a dupe for Mac, but nonetheless it's formulation is good in itself. Though matte it glides easily on lips and gives off a creamy and thick texture that is wearable for hours. The color pay-off is good. Probably I'll try to buy another shade from this EB Matte line because Mauvey is not working so well for me.
